She found fame on The Only Way Is Essex before turning her hand to modelling, and now Amy Childs is making her mark in the fashion world.
The 23-year-old has brought her brand of Essex glamour to the high street with her own clothing line at Dorothy Perkins.
We caught up with the entrepreneur to talk fashion, beauty and boys.
I’ve learnt to dress to suit my body shape and know exactly what works on my frame.
Fitted dresses that end just below the knee are brilliant, but I have to avoid blouses – with my big D cup boobs, they look terrible.
Although I’ve added shift dresses and other styles to my collection, I keep in mind what looks good on me when I’m designing.
I’m often looking in Topshop, H&M, New Look, and bought loads in Zara recently – they’ve got beautiful pieces this summer.
I’ll wear my collection a lot and when I do, I love to put on a fab pair of heels from ASOS.
When it comes to designer, you can’t beat Victoria Beckham.
I love her stuff.
Abbey Clancy is incredible. I saw a picture of her in a white suit recently and shelooked amazing .
Victoria Beckham always looks classy, and I like Coleen Rooney’s style too.
I think the WAGs always look beautiful.
Oh my God, yes! Quite a few.
The best, or worst, has to be an awful pink dress that I wore to the Legally Blonde premiere in 2010. Urgh, I looked like a Barbie doll and it was covered in these big flowers.
I knew it was a mistake the moment I left the house and just kept thinking, ‘Amy, what have you done to yourself?’
It was amazing!
I’ve worked so hard for years now and it’s just incredible to see my clothes in Dorothy Perkins.
I got quite emotional at the launch!
I really like my arms, as they’re looking trim.
I don’t like my belly, though. It’s the hardest thing to tone up and I’m struggling there.
Monday to Friday I will have porridge for breakfast then snack on nuts before having a chicken salad at lunch and pasta or something similar for dinner.
On Saturdays and Sundays I’m not so good and will treat myself to wine and takeaways, but I don’t feel bad as I’ve been good all week.
I love pizza! I’ve been really good recently and haven’t had any for at least two weeks, but soon enough I’ll give in and eat so much I feel sick!
I don’t weigh myself, so I really don’t know. I’m a size 8 or 10 at the moment and I’m happy.
I’ll go on a detox, avoiding carbs and drinking plenty of water.
I’ll eat loads of fruit and vegetables to get myself looking my best.
A spray tan helps – I always look skinnier when I’m tanned. And I’ll have a facial and get my hair, make-up and nails done, too.
I train hard Monday to Friday. I’ll do weights and cardio in the gym most mornings and do a spinning class, too.
I’ve tried boot camps in the past – that’s where I met my personal trainer, Paul.
He’s tough but brilliant.
Paul keeps me motivated, he’s so strict! Even when I am hungover he pulls me out of bed and makes me exercise.
I had my bikini shoot recently, so it’s my job to look good.
Lots! My YSL Mascara, Mac foundation, lip gloss, Liz Earle cleansing polish, Decleor too. It goes on and on.
I regularly get Crystal Clear facials.
Yes, every Monday I go make-up free. I scrub off my fake tan and do a full body exfoliate too.
No, I’m too young! Maybe when I’m 40 or something.
I’m going to keep working on my brand. I can’t believe that just three years ago I was in TOWIE.
There are a few TV bits coming up, so watch this space.
Ha! I’ve got to find a boyfriend first!
